911 Slant Nose
The 911 slant noses were
made after the 935 race car. The 935 had a flat hood without the
traditional 911 rounded headlights. Around 1985 Porsche started
to produce the 935 slant nose on the 911 Carrera and the 911
Turbo, or 930. They were offered for all 930’s and Carrera;
the Targa, the Cabriolet, and the couple. When the 930 had a
slant, it was called, by Porsche, the 930S. Today you can buy an
aftermarket slant nose kit to put on your 911.
